BEHIND THE LENS

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii.

​I moved to Ventura, California in August 2015 with plans to graduate from Brooks Institute with a degree in Professional Photography. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Brooks Institute was closed down in August 2016. I then moved in with a family friend in Santa Rosa, California but didn't plan to stay long. I very quickly fell in love with Wine Country and all of it's beauty.

 

One of the biggest supporters of my dream was my Dad. He unexpectedly passed in December of 2023 and one of the last conversations I had with him, he told me how much he wanted me to pursue my goal of being able to go full-time with my photography services. He would do anything he could to make my dream come true. My family and friends have fully encouraged me to put myself out there and help capture people's most precious moments.

I have always been drawn to the raw emotions and authenticity that can be found in unposed, in-the-moment photographs. I believe the best photos are often those that are taken when people are not aware of the camera, allowing their true personalities and emotions to shine through. Whether it's a spontaneous laugh, a heartfelt embrace, or a quiet moment of contemplation, I strive to capture these fleeing moments in a way that feels genuine and authentic.
